Are you a licensed childcare center in Spartanburg County looking to make a bigger impact? First Steps of Spartanburg County (FSSC) is seeking passionate partners to host Early Head Start (EHS) classrooms—and we’d love for you to join us!
Why partner with us?
EHS is a federally funded program designed to support children ages 0 to 3 and their families by offering high-quality, evidence-based early learning experiences. Through the Infant and Toddler Creative Curriculum, we provide a nurturing environment where children can thrive—while their parents focus on work or school. Each classroom is a mixed-age setting with a maximum of 8 children and 2 dedicated teachers.

What’s in it for your center?
– Fully funded EHS classroom provided by FSSC
– Access to comprehensive care and support for children and families
– Professional development and technical assistance to help your center grow
– Free use of the EHS curriculum, materials, and assessment tools
Partnering with EHS means you’ll have the opportunity to offer a new level of care and education to your community—while strengthening your own center’s impact.

If you’re ready to learn more about how this partnership can benefit your childcare center, reach out to Jeri Ross-Hayes at 864-327-4904 or jrhayes@1steps.org. Let’s work together to make a difference in the lives of Spartanburg’s youngest!
